While we would love to have August Rome stay in the organization, they have decided to retire to a quiet life of raising chickens just outside of Omaha. The road leading into Harry Haywood Park will be renamed August Rome Way in their honor.

August Rome was the Molotov's primary leadoff hitter for the majority of their time in the organization. Their bubbly personality, humble attitude and blue-collar work ethic perfectly encapsulated the Molotov ethos.
